PENNSound offers an extensive and growing online audio archive of poets reading their own works. Some 8,000 audio files are available and several thousand await production. Listen to Al Filreis’s latest podcast episode, “PENNsound pedagogy,” which discusses the reasons for setting up this audio archive and how educators can use it. For example, how can a teacher help students make a connection between Emily Dickinson and a contemporary poet like Rae Armantrout?
