Wordsalad is not a blog

Wordsalad is a poem-in-the-making.

It’s different today than it was a week ago.

Wordsalad evolves.

It adapts its continually changing form to elements in the environment.

Wordsalad is not text. It is not printed, nor is it a page of hypertext.

It is not visible.

Wordsalad occurs only in audio form.

It manifests itself as a weekly radio program on WSUM-FM, Madison.

Each instantiation of Wordsalad includes recordings of contemporary authors performing their own work, whether intended for page or stage.

This blog is only a sign, a clinamen, a handmaiden, a servant. It attempts to complement the show by posting playlists, the occasional book review, and links to related sites and events of interest.
