Check out The Book of Voices, “a living gallery of literature in text, spoken word, and multimedia; a literary collection lending context, a sense of place, and identity to aural poetry from artists throughout e-poets’ community. ” About 60 artists are represented. A collection of special chapters provides features on a given artist or a group of artists, as portraits into their lives. Chapters contain multiple samples of streaming media and typically include the original texts. Work also is indexed by shared culture–commonalities and diversities of spoken word among artists sharing heritage, geography, gender, or philosophy.
